Comment: Hallo gerd, das dürfte eine unserer Tribolium-Arten sein. Es handelt sich um Vorratsschädlinge, die bei guten Lebensbedingungen schnell hohe Populationsdichten aufbauen. Befallen werden Getreideprodukte, Hülsenfrüchte, Sämereien, Rosinen und weitere. Irgendwo hast Du eine Quelle im Haus (Müslipackung, Tierfutter, etc.). LG, Christoph

Request: Dieser Schnellkäfer (Totfund 2.7.17) kam mir erst unwöhnlich glänzend vor und die Halsschildhinterwinkel auf den ersten Fotos "anders" und ich dachte schon an was abgedrehtes, Mosotalesus oder so. Aber jetzt glaube ich, es ist doch nur Hemicrepidius sp. Foto von der Seite habe ich keines. Ca. 11 mm. Lieben Dank und Gruß

Comment: Hallo Bibi, sehr schöner Nachweis. Osmoderma eremita, Rote Liste 2, nach EU-Richtlinien geschützt, eine so genannte FFH-Art. Die Larven leben in lebenden hohlen Laubbäumen, meist Eiche, Linde oder Weide, aber auch in anderen. Die Populationen sind oft unentdeckt, da die Käfer sehr versteckt leben und ihre Höhlungen nur vereinzelt verlassen und wohl noch seltener fliegen. Da sie relativ flugunfreudig sind, kann man wohl davon ausgehen, dass die Brutbäume in relativer Nähe sind. LG, Christoph
