On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Moin Jörg, das ist Necrobia rufipes, der ans Aas gehört, weil er sich an diesem verlustiert. ;-) Viele Grüße, Klaas Bei Necrobia stimme ich zu, finde aber, Beine und Fühler sind recht dunkel für N. rufipes. Ich hätte hier (mit Unsicherheit) N. violacea gesagt. LG, Christoph Bild unscharf, aber Beine eindeutig aufgehellt, Fühler erscheinen mir auch zu hell für violaceus. Ich wollte auch erst violaceus schreiben, hab dann aber noch mal genauer hingesehen. Viele Grüße, Klaas Nach Diskussion belassen wir's bei sp. mit N. rufipes als wahrscheinlicher Lösung. Request: Aphodius prodromus. Man sieht die relevanten Flügeldeckenstreifen nicht gut, aber sollte die Art sein. Auf dem Boden nahe Misthaufen. Dort gab es eine wirklich überwältigende Anzahl von Aphodien und es kamen pausenlos neue angeflogen! Aber es waren fast ausschließlich A. prodromus, soweit ich das sehen konnte. Ca. 6,6mm, 14.10.2017 Vielen Dank!
