On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 10.06.2018 - Larve Carabidae sp.??? Mit vielen Fragezeichen!! 2.7 cm lang. Ich stehe noch ganz unter dem Eindruck dieser Beobachtung! Die Larve hat den anfangs noch lebenden Regenwurm immer wieder angebissen und ist dann auf Abstand gegangen. Dabei hat sie sich echt verhalten/gedreht (Foto C) wie bekifft ... danach hat sie wieder an dem Regenwurm gezerrt und gerissen. Ich habe keine ähnliche Larve (auch auf der Seite des Herrn Zaitsev nicht) gefunden. Aargau, asphaltierte Waldstrasse Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Danke vielmals für Euren spannenden Käferunterricht! Request: 5.6.18, Nedyus quadrimaculatus, ist scheinbar genau deren Zeit, wenn man sich die zahlreichen Meldungen anschaut. Natürlich auf Brennnesseln entedckt und noch schön die Finger gepiekst beim Fotografieren. KL etwa 2-3mm.
