Comment: Oi João, this is a representative of genus Psilothrix. To the best of my knowledge there are two species present in Portugal, P. viridicoeruleus and P. illustris. They are distinguished by the color of the pubescence of the elytra: black in P. viridicoeruleus and yellow in illustris. I lean towards the first one, but with some uncertainty. Request: Found yesterday, South Poland, mountain forest. Length about 5mm. I suppose Phyllobius. And this time I think it is P. argentatus too, but bold :)

Comment: Moin Marek, hier musst Du Dich in Frankreich mit nur unwesentlich mehr Arten rumschlagen, die grün gefärbt sind, als bei uns. Es kommen vor: C. sericeus, C. aureolus, C. hypochaeridis und C. transiens. Letztere zwei sind nur via Genital auseinander zu klamüsern. Nach italien rein wird es schlimmer. ;-) Der C. aureolus ist's. Viele Grüße, Klaas

Comment: Hallo Reinhard, korrekt erkannt! Zwei Arten kommen zunächst in die nähere Auswahl, C. sexpunctatus und der seltenere C. octopunctatus. Bei beiden ist die schwarze Zeichnung sehr variabel. Entscheidend ist die Lage der schwarzen Schultermakel: Auf der Schulterbeule bei C. sexpunctatus, direkt dahinter bei C. octopunctatus. Ich denke, Du liegst mit C. sexpunctatus richtig. In Europa.
