On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Hallo, Ihr habt mir dankenswerter Weise unter #131088 und #126471 zwei Mal einen Liophloeus tesselatus bestimmt. Das lässt freilich in mir den Verdacht aufkommen, dass dieser Käfer, den ich vor drei Jahren zu dieser Art gezählt habe, doch eine Otiorhynchus sp. ist. Was meint Ihr? Beste Grüße,Konrad

Request: Hallo,
auch dieser ca. 5mm große Käfer krabbelte gestern Nacht 17.05.2019 auf stehender Totholzbuche im FFH Reliktwald Lampertheim.
Ich hoffe, man kann genug zur Bestimmung erkennen. Was soll ich wegen des miserablen Fotos sagen...es war halt Nacht und der Käfer sehr klein... :-)

ich weiß, ist ein suboptimales Foto :-)
Der kleine Käfer lief gestern Nacht 17.05.2019 die stehende Totholzbuche hoch, und war schon ziemlich weit oben.
Ich halte ihn für den Pilzkäfer Triplax cf. rufipes, weil ich dort schon mal einen in der Nähe bei Zunderschwamm-Totholzbuche fand.

Comment: Hallo Sabine, das ist Neomida haemorrhoidalis, den ich hier am roten Hintern erkenne. Die Art habe ich über viele Jahre im Lampertheimer Wald und Umgebung nachts beobachten können. Daher hier bestätigt, obwohl's das Foto eigentlich nicht hergibt. Danke für die Meldung. LG, Christoph

Request: 18.05.2019 - (KI: Cetonia aurata, 24%, Rang 1) Es hat diesmal nicht viele Zuschneidevariationen gebraucht, bis Klein-Kerbie und ich einig waren :-D Die Knie scheinen mir schwarz tormentiert zu sein und der Mesosternalfortsatz wirkt rund. Das schöne Tier war stark behaart, also wohl noch nicht so alt und ich hoffe, dass es den frechen Spatzen hier entkommen ist. Aargau, Garten Gip-Oberfrick ausserhalb der MTBs auf ca. 370 m üNN.
