LG, Christoph

Peter J 2021-04-03 15:44
Land, Datum (Fund):
Belgien
2021-04-03
Anfrage: Tessenderlo, 03.04.2021. This Tychius sp. was sitting on Cytisus scoparius. It has the same size as the beautiful Tychius parallelus who were also present on this Cytisus scoparius. Kind regards, Peter
Art, Familie:
Tychius sp.
Curculionidae
Antwort: Hi Peter, I'm afraid I can't say more than Tychius sp. either. My best candidate would be T. junceus but that should have more red around the rostrum. Not sure if that is a "must" character or not. The bulging eyes exclude some other species which seem otherwise suitable so that I'm not getting a good result, sorry. Best wishes, Corinna
