Anfrage: Ich grüße euch und bedanke mich für die letzten Bestimmungen.
Dieser ist ca. 4mm. Gefunden auf Feldweg. Einer von den ganz vielen.

Antwort: Hallo Martin, zwei Arten kommen in Frage: B. lampros und B. properans. Unterscheidung über die 7. Punktreihe, Breite des Halsschildseitenrands und Ausprägung der Stirnfurchen. An Deinem Foto wage ich keine Trennung. Beide Arten paläarktisch verbreitet, nach Nordamerika eingeschleppt. Eurytop. Oft beide Arten gemeinsam im selben Habitat. Vielleicht wagt Klaas ja mehr als ich? LG, Christoph

Antwort: Hi Inja, this is difficult to judge from the photos. Two-colored, like the very common C. aurata, bit the elytra and head are relatively darf, and the punctation of the pronotum seems rather fine. That would favor C. nitidula. But some uncertainty remains. Regards, Christoph

Antwort: Hallo CH-Käferfan, korrekt, es ist Staphylinus caesareus: Schildchen schwarz behaart, mit gelben Härchen am vorderen Seitenrand des Schildchens. Schläfen gelb behaart. Antwort: Hallo CH-Käferfan, hier muss man sich den Halsschild genau anschauen: Seine länglichere Form sowie die in der Hinterhälfte seitlich durchgängige Beschuppung machen Dein Tier zum Liparus glabrirostris. Sitzt wie L. germanus an Petasites. Bei Euch sollte noch L. engadinensis vorkommen, der aber sicher ausgeschlossen werden kann. LG, Christoph

Antwort: Hallo Urs, ja das sollte Neogalerucella tenella sein. Der Halsschild ist rundum glatt und glänzend, damit grenzt er sich vom ähnlichen N. pusilla ab. Die Kopffärbung ist auch unterschiedlich, habe ich aber nirgends schriftlich gefunden. Von Mai bis August an Ulmaria-, Fragaria-, Potentilla- und Geum-Arten. lg gernot

Antwort: Hallo Urs, diese Börstchen am Foto rauszubringen ist wirklich schwer und ich habe mich bei dieser Bestimmung von Habitus, Färbung, der Kopf- und Augenform und dem insgesamt "streifigeren" Eindruck leiten lassen und entscheide mich so gegen S. lineatus und für S. suturalis. LG, Christoph

Antwort: Hi Johan, very hard to determine from the images. With a considerable portion of uncertainty I would tend to Amara similata. It seems that scutellar pores are present (image B), the elytral stripes appaer to be deeper to the end of the elytrae, which, together with the overall shape and colour could point to A.similata. For further requests, I would suggest to give at least an estimation of the size. Maybe one of the other admins adds some more info.
