Anfrage: Hallo Bestimmungsteam. Welche Carabidae könnte das sein? Der Käfer ist abends mit Licht gefangen. Grösse: 7,5mm. Fundort: Gulpen (Niederlande)(17-07-2013). Vielen Dank im voraus, Grüsse Hubert.
Art, Familie:
Ophonus sp.
Carabidae
Ohne Genital geht hier nichts. Viele Grüße, Klaas

Art, Familie:
cf. Xyleborus sp.
Scolytidae
Antwort: Hi Bekaru, this is a species of family Scolytidae, some kind of genus Xyleborus. I guess your trees might die, because of this one. But only if this beetle is occuring in masses. Fact is that those beetles are secondary pest and can only attack your trees in masses, because something else damaging it first. Regards, klaas
